Dr. Sarah Stewart was born in South Korea with a cleft lip and palate and could not get the medical attention she needed there. After she was adopted by a couple in Michigan, she received treatment for her condition and saw firsthand how access to necessary medical care could transform a patient’s life. She became a podiatrist to blend her passion for building relationships with people in need and her interest in delivering top-notch surgical care using the latest advances in medical science. Working with the rest of the Grandville Foot and Ankle team, she promotes a “whole person” approach to care that empowers patients to take control of their health as they work to address their podiatry concerns.
